Maintenance Techician

Seaside Vacations is looking for a candidate to fill a Maintenance Technician position. Experience preferred, but we will train a candidate with a positive, team focused attitude.

The Maintenance Technician plays an important customer service role while proudly taking on duties, assisting guests, resolving minor maintenance issues throughout their visit, and ensuring homes are kept in good repair for our homeowners.

 Duties may include, but are not limited to:

 •Completion of all assigned work orders to be done within the  standards of Seaside Vacations 
•Assist guests with the operation of electronic equipment, including keyless locks.
•Trouble shoot internet and TV issues. 
•Purchase & deliver items as requested by a guest, an owner, or other staff members. 
•Perform maintenance inspections when assigned
•Assure that all paperwork associated with the job is accurate and timely, especially items and detail relating to billing (such as receipts). Must be completed within digitally assigned work order. 
•Basic yard work.
•Power washing.
•Trouble shooting appliance operations.
•Update & program keyless lock.
•Update and manage work orders from the field.

 Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:

•This is a physically demanding position that requires a fast pace, and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects up and downstairs. 
•Ability to effectively work with owners of vacation rental properties and rental guests.
•Requires being out of the office and in the vacation rentals managed by Seaside Vacations in hot and cold weather and in heavy traffic conditions.

 Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.

 A company vehicle and cell phone is provided.

Assistant Property Coordinator

The Assistant Property Coordinator (APC) position is a full-time, year-round position with opportunity for advancement and industry-related education.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Assist the Property Coordinator team with all aspects of the owner relationship, unit readiness, and guest issue resolution.
-Ensure the highest level of customer service to owners and guests in order to maintain a positive brand image and company reputation.
-Assist caring for an assigned group of homes following well-defined processes.
-Participate in property inspections and evaluations to ensure company standards are met and the property is advertised correctly.

Qualifications:

-Excellent customer service skills.
-Hospitality experience is highly desirable.
-Knowledge of the vacation rental industry is a plus but not required.
-Computer skills including MS Office and G Suite (Google Workplace).
-Valid NC Driver’s license.
-Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.

Compensation: Varies depending upon qualifications and relevant experience.

Guest Services Agent

Do you have a vibrant personality and a desire to work with the best, most experienced guest services team on the Outer Banks? Then we have a great job available for you! Successful candidates should possess a desire to help people find the right vacation home to accommodate the best possible experience on their vacations, have empathy for those who are not having the best experience, and have a hearty sense of humor because this team is full of fun folks who laugh to get through the day. Other skills required for the position include  computer skills, attention to detail, and professional grammar and communication skills.
 
Responsibilities would include:
  • Take calls, texts and chats from guests and assist them in finding the right home for their vacation. Follow up to secure the reservation.
  • Assist guests with issues with their reservations or issues during their stay
This is an office-based position with opportunity for occasional remote shifts. Weekends would be required in the summer, with flexibility possible in the off season.
 
This position provides full benefits including health insurance, paid vacation time, 401K with company match, competitive pay and a sales bonus for meeting or exceeding reservations goals.

Field Supervisor

Seaside Vacations has 2 Field Supervisor positions available for the Season.

  • Field Supervisors assist in the tracking, coordination and training of cleaners in the field as well as assisting in the office with administrative tasks as needed.
  • These are full time positions, May - September.
  • Weekends required.
  • Must be able to pass background check.

Weekend Inspectors

Seaside Vacations is looking for a few committed, dependable people to join our Inspection team for the upcoming season.

  • NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Supplies provided.
  • Pay rate is $20 per hour PLUS mileage.
  • Weekend work is required. Must be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

 Filter Tech.

Seaside Vacations is hiring for a Filter Tech.

  • Primary duties include changing HVAC filters and cleaning grates and returns.
  • Saturdays and Sundays required, through Sept. Stress free and a great way to make some extra cash.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, be reliable, and have transportation.
  • $15 per hour plus mileage!

Pool / Spa Tech

Seaside Vacations is looking for an individual who enjoys working outside, has exceptional customer service, and is able to easily converse with guests.

  • Individual must be a self-starter and be willing to follow through with “full-day” directions and pool/spa routes.
  • The ideal candidate is willing to work on a seasonal basis. He/she must be able to open, maintain, and close pools and spas.
  • Must be CPO certified, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check.
